Cheating, Part 1

I cheated and shot some colour film this weekend to make sure that my Nikon EM was still functioning. This would allow me to differentiate these test photographs from my Leica year. Barring some quirks (the meter reading only displayed once I had taken the picture), the camera worked very well and other than a blue cast to some of the pictures, I love the results. But it’s a lot harder to shoot in colour when I’ve been shooting only black and white for months.

I also shot with my $1 Polaroid 600 and a couple of packs of PX 600 Silver Shade film. Scans of the pictures that I haven’t given away will be online once I get around to scanning them.
