My brother and I went to the Official Doctor Who Convention in Cardiff earlier this year. We got some cool stuff (I have a Jammy Dodger wielding Eleven and my brother has a few t-shirts) and met some lovely people through the Doctor Who tumblr. Here are some pictures.
